€700,000 to be invested in Algarve for homelessness support projects

the investment aims to assist the population who, due to the Covid-19 crisis, are at risk of social exclusion, particularly the homeless.

The Algarve 2020 Operational Program is to allocate €700,000 to support projects for people at risk of exclusion and homelessness, the Algarve Coordination and Development Committee (CCDR) announced today. A notice was published yesterday that explains the investment aims “to support entities that, through the Planning and Intervention Centres for the Homeless (NPISA) provide assistance to the population who, due to the Covid-19 crisis, are at risk of social exclusion, and particularly in a situation of homelessness”.
