The records show "dramatic and worrying numbers," according to ticketline officials, the first ticketing operator to emerge in Portugal, which has 21 years of activity, and Blue Ticket, with an eTicketing platform dating back to 2008.

Between March of this year, when the first state of emergency was declared in Portugal because of the covid-19 pandemic, and last November, Ticket Line obtained box office revenues of 5.312 million euros, which is equivalent to a 90 percent drop, compared to 50.690 million euros, obtained in the same period (March to November) 2019.

Ticket Line reports that from March to November, they responded "to an over 146,000 customers' emails", in regard to "exchanges and returns of thousands of tickets".
