19 GNR officers in the Algarve have Covid-19

A further 46 soldiers are currently in quarantine at home, but have tested negative.

At the start of this week, 19 GNR police officers in the Algarve had Covid-19. The station with the most active cases is Almancil, where there are four officers infected, followed by Faro, with three cases. The Albufeira and the Vilamoura, Portimão and Loulé stations each have two active cases, followed by Vila Real de Santo António and Olhão with one case each. As a result of these cases, a further 46 soldiers are currently in quarantine at home, but have tested negative.
