Home Affairs Minister Eduardo Cabrita said today that next week "there will be no tourist trips" to Portugal, only essential trips, and the control of land borders will be reinforced.

In the closing debate on the renewal of the state of emergency today, Eduardo Cabrita stressed that flights to Brazil and the United Kingdom are still being suspended and that those arriving in Portugal “indirectly” from these countries are being checked, as well as from South Africa.
