Police fine nearly 12,000 in 20 days

PSP and GNR detained 55 people for disobedience and recorded almost 12,000 offenses during inspection actions carried out between March 15 and April 6 under the State of Emergency

In a statement released after the meeting of the State of Emergency Monitoring Structure, the Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI) took stock of the inspection actions carried out by the GNR and PSP police within the framework of measures to combat the covid-19 pandemic.

Of the 55 people detained for disobedience, 12 were for violation of mandatory confinement.
