Real estate agency ERA Portugal, has reported the sale of more than 2,500 properties in the first quarter of 2021, representing a value of around €146 million euros.

The month of March represented 45 percent of the total billing in the first three months of the year, and is already the best month of billing for the real estate agent since December 2019.

In the first quarter of 2021, the average price of properties sold was €150,936, an increase of 11 percent over the same period. ERA also recorded a turnover of €17 million in real estate brokerage commissions and listed approximately 9,081 properties.

“Although the first quarter of the year was marked by almost two months of confinement, we managed to keep our activity running smoothly and it is with great enthusiasm that, in March 2021, we achieved the best results since the last month of 2019, which tells us that the real estate sector is recovering its full dynamics and reacting to the positive signs of the country's recovery”, says Rui Torgal, Director General of ERA Portugal.

In March, ERA Portugal sold around 1,100 properties, which represents 45 percent of the total properties sold in the first quarter of 2021 and an increase of 100 percent compared to the same period last year.

“In addition to the exceptional results we achieved, the month of March was also very special for ERA because we were again elected as a Trusted Brand and distinguished by Great Places to Work as the 2nd best company to work in Portugal. It was a month of many achievements for the company and our employees are the biggest reason for all this success”, said Rui Torgal.
