Cyclists are setting off from Sagres Fortress and will be ending the 182.8km race with a sprint up Monchique to Fóia Peak. Yesterday’s inaugural stage was won by Irish cyclist Sam Bennett, with national competitor Iúri Leitão being the highest-ranked Portuguese cyclist.
