Lagoa Vaccinations

EDITOR, With respect to my recent letter regarding Covid vaccination and Lagoa I must point out that my wife had lost her mobile phone and today we stopped her old SIM card and got a new one with the same number- which was put into another phone.

This very afternoon she received a call from Lagoa to go to get vaccinated!

We did so and have now had our first jab.

It is true that the appointments site of DG Saúde does not work for Lagoa (nor apparently for Monchique) but this is not the fault of the Lagoa or Monchique concelhos!

Hence I am very glad to say that Lagoa has not failed its citizens in any way- the vaccination was done smoothly and efficiently by friendly staff!
