Portugal is set to receive another 1.4 million doses of anti-Covid vaccines this week and next, which will help ramp up the vaccination campaign.

The incoming vaccines represent about 25% of the total just under 5,730,000 doses received since Portugal’s vaccination plan got underway on 27 December last year.

Vaccination of the 50-59 age group is already underway; the 40-49 age group should start to be vaccinated from the week starting 6 June, and 30-39-year-olds from 20 June.
