Government extends ‘State of Calamity’ until June 13

The Government has decided to prolong the current ‘State of Calamity’ decreed for the whole of mainland Portugal in the scope of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic until June 13

The State of Calamity came into force on May 1st after the State of Emergency ended and was due to end on midnight Sunday. Home-working will also remain compulsory in all municipalities in Portugal until June 13th.
