Rhiannon would be delighted for you to join as she is wanting to give back to the community and show her support for seniors and businesses who have had a hard time. Rhiannon is inviting the first 10 people over 60 who have been alone during the pandemic to enjoy complimentary food and drinks and to socialise together at her wonderful restaurant.

If you are at all interested in saving yourself a space or you know someone who would benefit from this event, please contact Rhiannon directly through the “Made in Belfast” Facebook page and just “bring your smile and your warm heart”. I know that this has been hugely popular from her Facebook page and from lots of people sharing so there are only a couple of spaces left.

Don’t worry if you are unable to attend this event though, as Rhiannon is also taking this heart-warming idea to the next level. She has already had a number of businesses come forward who are interested in providing different events with a safe and welcoming space to celebrate wise ones and continue this initiative.

Gastrobar 13 in Alvor will host a Secret Garden breakfast in July, followed by Sinead’s Platters with a beach brunch picnic in August, Golfland will be hosting a free mini golf and buffet in September and Beer&Co is still to be confirmed. There are plenty of events to come, helping to promote a sense of unity and giving back to the community. Rhiannon would love to continue this past summer so if you are a business with some space and are interested in hosting a similar event for seniors then please do not hesitate to contact Rhiannon through the “Made in Belfast” Facebook page.
