The other day I saw what I thought was an egret until it moved. It was slightly bigger than an egret and had a brown sandy back. Next I saw a heron, but it was the biggest heron I had ever seen and it was brown and white. There are birds down there that look like swifts, but slightly smaller. Swifts normally fly high and spend most of their time gliding, These other birds hunt close to the ground and constantly flap their wings. Yesterday I was sat on my decking when a bird flew over my head. It looked like a swift, but it was far bigger and it was grey and white. Has anybody else noticed this?
