The Parque Marechal Carmona and the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo are the festival’s settings. Located at the Cascais Museum District, with a strong connection to culture, nature and historical heritage, these spaces reflect the festival’s DNA, ensuring maximum safety for unique concerts and memorable summer nights. It is an event dedicated exclusively to Portuguese music, aiming to support and promote culture in the Parque Marechal Carmona and the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo. The festival, which usually takes place in July, was rescheduled for August and aims to support and promote Portuguese artists and moreover is a perfect way to spend your summer nights.

Fado singer Marco Rodrigues is the final supporting musician to be announced, as the incredible line up for the entire festival has now been fully revealed. Marco Rodrigues who will take to the MÚSICA NO PARQUE stage on 27 August, on the same day as headlining artist Carminho. He will present new songs such as “Fado Fantasma” and “Eu Sou do Roque” as well as previous recordings such as “Tantas Lisboas” (2010), “EntreTanto” (2013), “Fados do Fado” (2015) and “Copo Meio Cheio (2017). The fado singer was nominated in 2016 for one of the categories of the Latin Grammy by “Fados do Fado”.

Acts that are already confirmed at MÚSICA NO PARQUE festival are: headliners Dino D’Santiago with supporting act Pedro Mafama on 19 August, followed by Fernando Daniel being supported by Cláudia Pascoal on 20 August, Os Quatro e Meia with support act Mimi Froes will play on 21 August, with Deixem o Pimba em Paz supported by Filho da Mãe performing on 26 August and on 27 August Carminho will be headlining as well as fado singer Marco Rodrigues. Finally on the last day, supporting act Churky will play and perhaps the most recognisable and biggest band Xutos e Pontapés will headline the end the festival. “It all started on 13 January, 1979, in the Alunos de Apolo room, in Lisbon. At the time, Zé Leonel (vocals), Zé Pedro (guitar) and Kalú (drums) were taking part in the celebrations of 25 years of Rock & Roll. Today, almost four decades later and with 13 original albums under their belt, Xutos & Pontapés are “THE” flagship of Portuguese Rock and Roll for Portuguese people.”

Tickets purchased for the festivals original dates of July are valid for the corresponding dates in the month of August, and no exchange is necessary. Ticket holders for the dates of July are entitled to a voucher equal to the price paid, which can be used until 31 December, 2022.
