Algarve professional Ricardo Santos ended his participation in the competition with a final round of 71, one under par on the Scottish course, thanks to four birdies on holes 3, 6, 7 and 12, against three bogeys at 2, 5 and 18.

With a total of 284 shots (72+69+72+71), four under par, Santos shared the 63rd place on the leaderboard with four other players, including Pedro Figueiredo, who also completed the last 18 holes in 71.

“Today, the outcome was better than Saturday, but conditions were also quite good. I didn’t hit the ball as well as in the previous days, I was slightly better on the greens, but the conditions were perfect to score a good one, so much so that with one less I went down a few places. But, in general, the result is positive”, said Pedro Figueiredo.

After a third lap marked by a quadruple bogey, which “spoiled the result”, the Azeitão pro had a more consistent performance and recorded three birdies (on holes 3, 7 and 12) and two bogeys (10 and 18), in a game in which Grant Forrest totalled 264 shots (68+68+62+66) and won the title of the Hero Open.
