So so true! I just spent 6 weeks on Madeira Island. On AIRBNB I rented an apartment in Caniço for 4 weeks and a traditional townhouse in Funchal for 2 weeks. Total cost £1200. Airfares and day to day expenses £700. 6 weeks on Madeira Island £1900...
