The United States Government recently published the UAP report and released footage from their US NAVY Pilots which resulted in some pretty compelling stuff that you can view and read online, but if that was not enough the work of (DR) Stephen Greer and his Disclosure Project and (CSETI) only further fuels the fire of an already controversial subject that has like a tradition brought with it scorn and ridicule.

Despite this one cannot ignore the fascinating work he has produced such as the Disclosure Project where Greer held a press conference at the National Press Club that featured the testimony of 20 retired Air Force, Federal Aviation Administration and intelligence officers, certainly compelling viewing for anyone remotely interested in the subject.

According to Wikipedia: “Greer founded the Centre for the Study of Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) in 1990 to create a diplomatic and research-based initiative to contact extra-terrestrial civilizations. The official statements regarding its intentions also included a new category of extra-terrestrial encounters, namely CE-5 or 'close encounters of the fifth kind'. This was defined by Greer as human initiated contact and/or communication with extra-terrestrial life. Since its inception, the organization has spent anywhere between $3.5 million and $5 million to achieve its goals”.

The organisation claims to have over 3,000 confirmed reports of UFO sightings by pilots, and over 4,000 proofs of what they describe as landing traces. This refers to incidents where UFOs have supposedly left behind trace evidence, such as electromagnetic readings, after landing on Earth. The organisation utilizes 'Rapid Mobilisation Investigative Teams' with the aim of arriving at landing sites as quickly as possible. CSETI has defined a protocol for human initiated contact to UFOs using consciousness”

But what about here in Portugal?

More recent reports have ranged to Disc and Cigar shaped Craft, reports of Bright Star-like lights making Z movements in the sky, even a reported Upside down Tear drop shaped craft with multicoloured lights.

Looking further back the still unexplained Castelo De Bode DAM UFO CASE of 1977 was followed by the 1982 Ota Airbase incident over the skies of Portugal which would result in three experienced Airforce pilots coming face to face with a UFO.

As opposed to covering up the incident, however, the Portuguese Air Force Chief of Staff would take the unusual decision to release all files to UFO investigators in an effort to clarify events.

Weather phenomena, optical illusions, chasing venus, swamp gas! (seriously), plain old hoaxes or really little green men in flying machines?.

What do you think?
