About: Rock in Rio Lisboa has been around since 2004 and is held every other year usually. As one of the biggest festivals in Portugal, this festival always attracts big name acts. Held over two weekends, if you want to see all of the acts you are going to need to stay in Lisbon for over a week but that shouldn’t put you off, it just means you get to enjoy the city and a world class festival in one go!

About: This is less of a traditional festival and more of a collection of gigs over the month, all with a jazz lean.
