This initiative is part of a strategy of the Lisbon City Council, through GAU – Galeria de Arte Urbana, to continue to develop spaces for free painting in the city, accessible to national and international artists, and to the general public.

Located in a recently refurbished garden and with a total area of 4,300 square metres (m2), this area brings together 14 free painting walls designed to welcome different looks and artistic proposals and also a sports area, the 'Pump Track Skate'.

The work that has been carried out by GAU and the municipality, in conjunction with sport, urbanism and green spaces, the Parish Councils and the different partners, “has allowed the creation in the city of a set of requalified structures and equipment that seek to regenerate the Lisbon neighbourhoods”, says the municipality.
