According to a report by ECO, the executive chairman of the
Stellantis automotive alliance left several praises for the national economy
and the industrial sector. Carlos Tavares only regrets the impact that
bureaucracy ends up having on the launch of new projects.
“Our country has only one disease: excessive bureaucracy.
There are many projects that are abandoned because there are more bureaucratic
complications. We have to give society more breathing space. To prioritise
something, it would be the reduction of bureaucracy”.
On the other hand, the leader of the automobile alliance
pointed to several strengths of the national economy, including “supplying 60%
renewable energy is a competitive asset. Going from 60% to 80% within three or
four years is a very competitive second asset within Europe”.
it was said that in the USSR people spent half their working life queuing for food, here in Portugal they spend half their working lives queuing for bits of papers at camara offices
