According to the IPMA, more than 120 municipalities in the districts of Bragança, Vila Real, Braga, Viana do Castelo, Porto, Aveiro, Viseu, Guarda, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Santarém, Portalegre and Faro are at maximum danger.

The IPMA has also placed almost the entire remaining territory at very high and high danger of rural fire, with the exception of about four dozen municipalities on the coast, on a day when the district of Bragança remains under a red warning (the highest) because of the hot weather and the districts of Viseu, Guarde and Vila Real are under an orange warning (the second highest) for the same reason.

Minimum temperatures today will fluctuate between 16 degrees Celsius (Beja, Évora and Lisbon) and 23 degrees (Faro and Bragança) and maximum temperatures between 25 degrees (Viana do Castelo and Porto) and 40 degrees (Bragança).
