According to a report by idealista, Cristiano Ronaldo has chosen to build a new home in Cascais, in the prestigious Quinta da Marinha resort. However, it is reported that he is not happy about the golf course and club house at Oitavos, owned by Miguel Champalimaud.

According to a report in “Nascer do Sol”, the Portuguese footballer who plays for Manchester United, wants to have more privacy for his mansion in Quinta da Marinha and has proposed to buy the car park and club house at Oitavos to solve this issue.

It has been reported by LOOK publication that the new house had an initial build budget of €12 million but costs have soared and now stand at closer to €21 million.

Ronaldo's house is set to occupy one hectare of land and the house will be 3,000 square metres (m2). It is expected to be completed in 2023.
