Comboios de Portugal (CP) complaints increased by 66% between 1 January and 29 November 2022, compared to the same period last year, according to Portal da Queixa.

Train delays and cancellations account for 41% of all complaints, while a lack of information accounts for 24%. Problems with buying tickets online (16%) and poor conditions (15%) follow in the list of main complaints from consumers.

"Between January 1 and November 29 of this year, consumers registered 281 complaints addressed to CP, which means a 66% growth in the number of complaints, compared to the same period of 2021, when there were only 169 complaints".
