As the Northern Hemisphere winter season approaches its peak, FUEL TV is proud to announce its latest partnership with the Portuguese board makers Freshlines, resulting in a product aimed at the core of the snow sports.

Another step within its strategy of giving global exposure to local manufacturers, FUEL TV partnered up with Freshlines for a limited edition. The board designs refer to two issues that are close to the heart and soul of the channel, dubbed as “the Global Home of Action Sports”: “ALIEN BEAR” model that emphasize the threatened wildlife of riding areas and “GLOBAL HOME” model that give an image to the broadcasting antennas that deliver FUEL TV’s content to more than 170 countries around the world.

Paulo Alves, head of marketing at FUEL TV, stated that the collaboration between the two brands is part of an outlined strategy, local brands - global impact, which consists of giving international visibility to national manufacturers: “As a company with global reach, we feel that part of our work is to find synergies that help us to promote our image through core products and at the same time amplify national businesses to have global exposure”.

ABOUT FRESHLINES BOARDS

Freshlines was born in a small vibrant city in the north of Portugal, Aveiro, where skateboard and surf were and still are the trend for an alternative lifestyle. It started as a silly hobby and then eventually got more and more serious as technology and investment grew. There was no way back. It all stems from the need to connect the ride with the soul and see people happy with their board. We love to design different shapes and graphics, and the utopic challenge to build the perfect board. This project also gives us the opportunity to meet new people and new places - isn’t that a good reason to shape boards? Yes, it is! www.freshlinesboards.com
