Rapper, singer and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia, Lil Nas X is already dubbed as "an internationally recognised phenomenon" by Billboard magazine.

It was in 2019 that he was catapulted to international fame with the release of "Old Town Road", which would become a turning point in the music industry - shattering gender conceptions and norms, topping the charts and going viral worldwide. The remix of the song featuring Billy Ray Cyrus became the longest-running number one hit in Billboard Hot 100 history, topping the charts for 19 consecutive weeks. As if that wasn't enough, it has also been awarded 16x Platinum and is the most certified song in RIAA history with two GRAMMYs® wins.

After his eclectic EP 7, with the singles "Panini" (6x Platinum) and "Rodeo" (2x Platinum), the hit that came to change the cultural landscape in March 2021 arrived called "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)". The queer anthem that provoked much-needed dialogues worldwide, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 1 and remained captive on Spotify's Global Chart type for over a month. September of that same year saw the release of Lil Nas X debut album, Montero, nominated for Album of the Year at the 2022 GRAMMYs® and highly acclaimed by critics.

The album was included on several Best of 2021 lists from Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, People, USA Today, Billboard, LA Times, Complex and many others for "its approach to gender boundaries and refreshingly honest exploration of love and loneliness," described by Variety. The Platinum-certified album also launched "Industry Baby" with Jack Harlow (4x Platinum), which only further cemented Nas X's superstar status, reaching #1 on Top 40 radio and #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. "That's What I Want" became her third consecutive song as #1 on Top 40 radio.

At only 23 years old, 11 GRAMMYs® nominations of which two won and holder of several records, Lil Nas X is one of the artists of the moment performing, for the first time in Portugal, on the NOS Stage at NOS Alive'23 - in a concert that has everything to become memorable.
