This means that the zero VAT shopping basket will also include vegetable drinks and other dietary products intended for enteral nutrition (tube feeding).

In addition, a proposal was also approved that adds fermented milk to the dairy products category.

These products are thus added to the list of 44 products and the measure will be in effect from April 18 to October 31.

Among the amendments approved is one from the BE that adds to the list drawn up by the Government "vegetable-based drinks and yoghurts, without milk and dairy products, produced with dried fruits, cereals, or preparations based on cereals, fruits, vegetables or products vegetables".

The PAN's proposal on the same category of products ("vegetable-based beverages and yoghurts, without milk and dairy products, produced with dried fruits, cereals, preparations based on cereals, fruits, vegetables or horticultural products) was also made possible.

The PS also voted in favor of a PSD proposal concerning "dietary products intended for enteral nutrition".

The Government's bill foresaw, in the category of dairy products, that "natural cow's milk, sterilized, pasteurized, ultra-pasteurized, in blocks, powder or granules" should be included in this list.

However, and after a PSD proposal, the majority of deputies reached an agreement so that the list that will come into force finally includes "natural cow's milk, sterilized, pasteurized, ultra-pasteurized and fermented".
