Culture is one of the areas affected, with investments of 34 million euros planned for projects related to cinematographic art, according to Jornal Económico.

The projects envisaged in this area were mainly concentrated in the interior of the country. There are 170 foreign investors relating to culture, spread over ten projects with a total value of 34 million euros. There were clients from the United States, Canada and the Middle East, who were resorting to golden visas to invest in the country.

With the new measures that affect the Residence Permit for Investment Activity regime, there are film projects that have been suspended. The Ministry of Culture stresses that the topic “is in the legislative process”, leaving comments for another time.
