The event saw partakers join hand-in-hand to form a “human peace wall”.

Lord Mayor of Belfast, Cllr Tina Black, was there to address those at the event.

Both roads are symbolic of the divide in Northern Ireland, with the Shankill being a stronghold of Unionism and the Falls a stronghold of Nationalism.

The event featured prayers, music, and reflection, to mark the 25 years since the agreement was signed, bringing an end to the Troubles.
