Viewers from nations such as Australia, France, Germany, Ukraine, and the United States tuned in throughout the course of two nights.
As soon as Róisn was carried away to the streets of Tralee, the festivities began. There, she will be introduced to the town and serenaded in front of the tens of thousands of spectators who had gathered for Midnight Madness and a fireworks show.
Róisn was astonished at the news and said, “I'm dumbfounded. I'm extremely appreciative and thrilled to represent my class, and I sincerely hope I can do them all honour. I'm very delighted to represent Ireland in New York as an Irish American who grew up in New York, and I feel so, so privileged to do so.”
