"The explosion of exciting restaurants in the north", the "blue water sanctuaries of the south", the cities of Porto, and Lisbon, but also the "remote Azores archipelago", are some of the reasons given by Condé Nast Traveler to justify Portugal being the fourth most searched global tourist destination on Google in 2023.
Ahead of Portugal is Greece, which occupies first place, while Spain and Italy, are in second and third place on the podium, respectively.
Condé Nast Traveler states that "Porto is a newcomer to the European gastronomy championship, but has quickly gained a reputation as a destination to be reckoned with".
In the text, emphasis is also placed on the "remote Azores archipelago", which "is often forgotten in favour of the country's seaside resorts - think thermal waters, turquoise lagoons and volcanoes that pierce the clouds".
What if someone in Greece is looking for oranges ("portokali") on Google, or someone is searching for "Portugalete" in Spain or for "why politicians in Portugal are so corrupt", does it also count for the ranks? Thanks for the hyperlink to Google.com!

Why can't Lisa just accept that people are allowed to have different opinions, and they are allowed to say what they think? This isn't Gaza or North Korea Lisa.
I mean, who the heck are you to tell others what to think?
I have very strong opinions, but I accept that others have other opinions. Like you do. Do I shut you up? No. I just ridicule you. Because clearly you are not one to be taken seriously. It's called freedom of speech, and it's a basic human right. If you don't like it, then your beloved Portugal is not for you, look at a MENA region country perhaps. You'll love it there, it'll totally fit your "I follow orders, why aren't they following orders too WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" mindset.
