The additional routes from Kerry to Pau near the Pyrénées, Caen in Normandy, and Brest in Brittany will increase the number of summertime services to ten.

Ryanair now operates flights from Kerry Airport to Alicante, Faro, Dublin, London (Luton and Stansted), Manchester, and Frankfurt Hahn.

Because of how well last summer's weekly service to Brittany went, Chalair said it made the decision to start operating flights from Kerry to two further areas of France.

Up until early and late September, there will be 13 weekly flights from Kerry to Brest in Brittany and Caen in Normandy, as well as 10 weekly flights to Pau, which is close to the Pyrénées, as part of the new French services.

According to CEO of Kerry Airport John Mulhern, Chalair has chosen to resume weekly flights to France this summer, launching three new routes in Brittany, Normandy and the Pyrénées.

“Given the favourable comments from travellers who went between Kerry and France the previous year and the opportunity to expand the routes even further, it was crucial that flights resume.”

Mr. Mulhern continued, “We anticipate a large number of French tourists coming to Kerry to discover the Kingdom and understand that this is an incredible oasis here in the southwest of Ireland.

Alain Battisti, CEO of Chalair, expressed the airline's pride in increasing flight connections with Kerry this summer.

“The wonderful comments from our travellers who came to Kerry in 2023 astounded us. This had an impact on our choice to bring back the French link and expand the number of destinations to three in 2024,” the CEO stated.
