"Last year, 2,903 complaints reached the Portal da Queixa related to problems with home meal delivery services, an increase of around 62%, compared to the same period in 2022, in which 1,793 complaints were registered", according to a statement reported by Notícias ao Minuto.
According to the complaints platform, Uber Eats is the brand that receives the most complaints, but also the one that resolves the most.
"Problems with refunds and undelivered orders are the main reasons reported by consumers".
The data also reveals that the "increasing trend of complaints seems to be continuing this year", as "between January 1st and February 11th, 2024, 365 complaints were registered aimed at the home delivery sector".
This value exceeds the number recorded in the same period of 2023 by 48.4%.
I’m not surprised. The delivery person could not understand Portuguese or English, order not delivered and they kept the money. It’s a big fraud, never again.
