This also translated to many investors saying that they had lost trust in Uwerx. Many of them even threatened to pull out of the project.

The attack was unexpected for a project that has been impressive since its presale. However, it became a chance for the Uwerx development team to show their commitment to the project.

Uwerx Developers Took Swift Action

Without wasting time, Uwerx developers began executing plans to mitigate the effects of the flash loan attack and ensure it doesn't happen again. They secured the new contract by passing it through two established auditors and one independent auditor.

The Uwerx development team didn't stop there. They took their commitment a step further by making more updates on the platform to offer a better user experience.

The team announced that the new launch will be accompanied by more liquidity. The liquidity will be drawn from reserves. They also proposed a zero-burn tax and intend to put all funds generated from the sell tax into the liquidity pool.

These strategic moves were geared towards keeping investors' confidence in the project and providing massive support for the Uwerx platform.

Uwerx developers started updating their website to reflect the latest developments. They also began work on the Uwerx vault.

After confirming that the project was more secure and ready to join the market, the team finally relaunched Uwerx on the Polygon network on October 25. Launching on the Polygon network meant users could now enjoy reduced gas fees and seamless utilization of the WERX token on the Uwerx platform.

Uwerx Platform

After Uwerx's highly successful relaunch on October 25, the project's developers continued improving the platform. They introduced the Uwerx freelance platform MVP: https://app.uwerx.network/ on November 22, 2023.

The platform was built entirely from scratch, using the assets from the previously released MVP. The newly revamped version boasts features like the Create account Create task, Notifications, LinkedIn connectivity, User Settings (email notifications), Email template design, Task editing, Email change, and Logged-in flows. It also features the Invite page, Navigate to Jobs page, Google authenticator, Requests, Agency Notes, Chat, and User deletion.

After many users reported noticing some bugs in the MVP, Uwerx developers started working on fixing the bugs and testing the platform. They also plan to add more features continually as the project keeps developing.

On November 22, 2023, after making numerous changes and improvements, Uwerx conducted the first airdrop. The second airdrop happened on November 29, 2023, and users were more than impressed. Users are asked to expect more airdrops in December. These will happen on December 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th. January will also have four airdrops on January 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th.

Uwerx's ongoing buy-back initiative has seen over 295,000 WERX bought back and burnt. Additionally, the team has committed more WERX tokens to the buy back program recently and these will be burned in the upcoming weeks.

The team has also locked the liquidity, and they urge users to check it out through this link.

Many crypto experts believe that Uwerx is prepared to succeed in this new chapter of its development. Its team's commitment has led to quick responses to its challenges. The team is also thankful to its community members for supporting and standing with it throughout its trying phases. They assure the community that a lot more great days lay ahead.

The final build is being worked on at the moment and users are invited to keep sending their suggestions to uwerxmvpfeedback@gmail.com, this email address will be used for the current feedback as well.
