According to data from idealista, it is in the parishes of Belém (Lisbon) and Colares (Sintra), where buying a house is more expensive, with average costs exceeding 1 million euros. The Lisbon parishes Estrela and Alvalade are also among the most expensive of all, with prices exceeding 800,000 euros.

The high price of housing located in these areas is not within the reach of any average budget, meaning that these parishes are among the least sought after by families at the end of 2023, according to the same data. The one that turned out to be least attractive was Areeiro, in the capital, where buying a house cost 666,000 euros at the end of 2023.

The most accessible parishes to buy a house near the capital were Falagueira-Venda Nova (Amadora) and Cacém and São Marcos (Sintra), with median prices around 200,000 euros. And, perhaps due to their greater accessibility in terms of price, these parishes are among the 15 most sought after for purchasing housing.
