With 783 solar panels already running on the building's roof in Oranmore, up to 292,000 kilowatts of sustainable electricity can be produced annually.
One residential unit of electricity is equal to one kilowatt, and the average Irish home uses about 5,000 units annually.
The headquarters building's team has worked together to reduce energy consumption by 41% since 2015.

In addition, the Marine Institutes facility in Newport, County Mayo has installed 76 panels.
29,000 kilowatts will be produced annually by that system.
