The new stores will be located across 13 counties, and the additional jobs will span its store network, warehouse operations, and office facilities.


This announcement coincides with Aldi’s 25th anniversary in Ireland, as it releases its latest economic impact report.


Last year, Aldi spent €1.1 billion with Irish suppliers, contributing €757 million to the state’s economy.


The report highlights a 58% increase in Aldi’s purchases from Irish suppliers since 2019, with Irish products now making up nearly half of all sales.
