Lisbon: Prolonged sunny periods are forecast over the weekend with highs of 29 degrees on Saturday and 25 degrees on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday will be feeling slightly cooler with average highs of 24 degrees before thermometers rise again up to 31 degrees by Thursday next week, with lows of 16 degrees.

The north: A mixture of sunshine and clouds is forecast for Saturday with highs of 27 degrees. On Sunday, cloud cover is to increase and temperatures are to hit highs of 25 degrees. Fine weather is to continue with temperatures rising as the week progresses up to highs of 30 degrees by Thursday next week.

The centre: Both Saturday and Sunday are to have prolonged sunny spells with some cloud cover, with temperatures peaking at 28 degrees on Saturday and 29 degrees on Sunday. It will feel slightly cooler on Monday and Tuesday before temperatures rise again up to highs of 32 degrees by Thursday.

The south: Intermittent sunshine and cloud cover is expected on Saturday with highs of 25 degrees. On Sunday, clear skies are forecast with highs of 29 degrees and lows of 17 degrees. From Monday, there will be a mixture of sunshine with some cloud cover, with average highs of 30 degrees and lows of 17 degrees.

Madeira: Intermittent cloud cover and sunny periods are forecast over the weekend with highs of 25 degrees and lows of 18 degrees. The following week is to be very similar, although it will feel slightly cooler on Tuesday.

The Azores: Heavy cloud cover is forecast over the weekend with highs of 22 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. It is to remain mainly dry until Wednesday, when showers are to return with temperatures averaging highs of 22 degrees.
