The festival revealed on its Facebook page, in a letter addressed to the boomer community, that the next edition, marking 30 years of cosmic psychedelic dance, will take place at Herdade da Granja, on the banks of the Marechal Carmona Dam, in Idanha-a-Nova, from July 18 to 25, 2027.

Before this 16th edition of the festival, however, as the Boom Festival organizers revealed to the Lusa news agency, the 'Being Gathering' will take place at Boomland on July 1 and 5, 2026.

Tickets for this "mini-Boom," which takes place between two editions of the Boom Festival, will be available to the public soon.

Its first edition took place on the summer solstice of 2015 and was called the 'Be-In Gathering' at the time.

This was a pioneering event for the development of the conscious festival movement, and its second edition took place in 2017.

In 2021, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization held a smaller version called 'Being Camp'.

Finally, last year, the 'Being Gathering' returned to Herdade da Granja, in Idanha-a-Nova, recapturing its original splendour.

Next summer, 'Being Gathering' returns to Boomland with a program that includes activities for all generations, from healing to wellness practices, sustainability, and music workshops.
