In a press release, quoted by Essential Business: “The merger operation consists of the creation of a joint venture by Vanguardeagle – Asset Management, Lda. and ABNSouza Investimentos, S.A. that will be dedicated to the provision of real estate services through the operation of the Corcoran franchise in Portugal.”

According to the Portuguese Authority for Competition defines Vanguardeagle as a “company that is mainly engaged in real estate development, and whose share capital is held by the PNI Group and José Cardoso Botelho”, while ABNSouza is linked to the “the exploitation of the master franchising of the franchise network of real estate mediation agencies under the Century21 brand in Portugal and Spain, not holding any franchise of its own”.

The Corcoran Group is a real estate company, highly recognised in the United States luxury market, being already expanded through the international market.

In Portugal, Vanguardeagle is known for the brand developer Vanguard Properties, the biggest real estate development company in the country. The brand focus on premium and luxury residential and tourism projects, mainly in Lisbon, Oeiras, Algarve and Comporta. José Cardoso Botelho is the founder of the company that started its activity in 2017.
