These celebrations will take place at the Guia Sports Pavilion from 7pm, with free entry, and promise to attract both locals and visitors for joyful community news.

The programme features concerts, food stalls, and traditional gastronomy, creating a festive atmosphere for all ages. On Saturday, August 30, performers Emanuel & Tânia and Irís will take the stage, while Sunday, August 31, will include music by Humberto Silva and Rebeca, closing with a fireworks display.

Furthermore, the event maintains its religious roots, honouring Nossa Senhora da Guia and São Luís. A Mass and procession will be held on Saturday at 8.30pm from the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Guia, and on Sunday at 6pm from the Guia Parish Church.

Organised by the Junta de Freguesia da Guia, with support from Albufeira City Council and local associations, the festival also includes the involvement of the Guia Parish, responsible for the religious programme.

“The Festas da Guia are a very special moment for our community, as they unite tradition, culture, and the joy of our people”, according to parish council president Dinis Nascimento. “I invite both residents and visitors to come experience the unique atmosphere, share our food, enjoy great music, and celebrate together”, he concluded.
