According to Luís Montenegro, Donald Trump expressed solidarity with Portugal following the accident involving the Glória elevator in Lisbon, which left 16 dead and many others injured.
"I spoke by phone with President Donald Trump regarding our alliance and bilateral relations. We both see many opportunities to strengthen economic, political, and cultural ties between the US and Portugal," the Portuguese prime minister wrote in a post on social network X, from Japan, where he begins a two-day official visit on Thursday.

Portugal, beware of Donald Trump. He may come across in personal exchanges as a nice guy, but he is a liar. Any deal he makes is subject to be withdrawn the next day.
I can’t say things are all that different about most politicians, everywhere.
I remember meeting the nicest contractor, once, in San Francisco. I worked as a property claims adjuster. He was so kind, and quite willing to reduce his estimates somewhat to rech agreement with me. He started offering to pay for vacations I had planned, and to give me tickets for the SF Giants. I refused rhose offers as it violated my sense of ethics, and the law. When telli g my manager he told me the contractor was connected to the SF mafia.
On duty alo g the Texas/Mexico border we often retrieved stolen high end vehicles through the chief of police in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Again, he was the nicest peraon you’d ever want to meet. We found out later he was one of the founders of the Gulf drug cartel!
Donald Trump is nothing but a smooth talking mobster pedophile, no different than the ones I describe above. Beware, Portugal, for he has no interest at all in doing anything good for this country.
