According to the Air France-KLM group's low-cost carrier, the service will maintain a "robust offer" in Portugal.
"The low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM group maintains its robust offering to and from Portugal, one of the most important markets in its global network," Transavia reaffirms, emphasising that Paris-Orly will continue to be "the main destination operated to and from the Portuguese market," with 49 flights/week from Porto and 35 flights/week from Lisbon, according to a report by Publituris.
In addition to the Paris-Orly flights, which are also available from Faro and Funchal, Transavia will also fly to Amsterdam from Faro, Funchal, Ponta Delgada, Lisbon, and Porto; to Brest from Porto; to Eindhoven from Lisbon and Faro; to Lyon from Faro, Funchal, and Porto; to Montpellier from Lisbon; to Marseille from Funchal; to Nantes from Lisbon, Funchal, Faro, and Porto; to Rotterdam from Faro and Lisbon; and to Brussels from Faro.
In addition to Portugal, Transavia will also open 20 new routes in Europe, including to Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Pise (Italy), Araxos (Greece), and Bourgas (Bulgaria) from Paris-Orly or Alghero, Palermo (Italy), Skiathos, Karpathos, and Lesbos (Greek Islands), Hurghada and Marsa Alam (Egypt), and Antalya (Turkey) from Amsterdam.
According to Julien Mallard, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Transavia France, the airline has an "ambitious program" for next summer, offering "new travel options to increasingly unique destinations, such as Sarajevo and Bourgas."
