All Saints has been celebrating Harvest Festival for many years, and each year the altar seems to be ever more filled with gifts that go to the Lagoa social services for distribution to those in need. The tradition of this festival is an opportunity to give back some of the blessings you have received.

If we have a good home, a full fridge, or a good, mainly stress-free lifestyle, these are all blessings. Would you be willing to give a little back to those who may not be so blessed? Gifts can be as simple as a bag of rice, or something more if you feel willing to donate (not money). We welcome all gifts of non-perishable food, vegetables, fruit, canned goods, and everything is welcome.

As expatriate residents, we are blessed with the possibility of enjoying everything from clean air, welcoming local people and some great weather. Not everyone has so many blessings, so can we encourage you to give something back to those in need?

Harvest Festival is at 11:00 on Sunday, October 5th. Visitors are welcome, and so are kids. If you would prefer to drop off your gifts on Saturday morning, the Church will be open from 11:00 to 12:00 at the Convento São Jose.

Plentiful parking next to the Church
