his announcement follows the news of new routes by Iberia. Bucharest, Romania, and Tivat, Montenegro, are the two new routes announced for summer 2026 and are part of the airline's "2030 Flight Plan."
The Romanian capital will have two weekly flights (Wednesdays and Sundays) from June 3 to September 30, 2026.
Tivat, Montenegro, will also receive two weekly flights, with flights beginning July 18 and running through September 15 (Tuesdays and Saturdays).
In addition to these flights, Iberia revealed that Croatia will once again be one of the destinations receiving the most flights this summer. To Dubrovnik, Iberia will have 14 weekly flights from April to October, with Zagreb and Split also receiving nine weekly flights.

Italy and Greece will also once again be highlighted by Iberia next summer. Thus, starting in April, Catania, with eight flights, and Palermo, with three flights, will return to Iberia's flight schedule, joining Olbia (five flights) and Cagliari (three flights).
In Greece, Iberia will offer flights to Corfu and Mykonos with seven weekly flights and Santorini with six weekly flights.
Tirana (Albania) and Ljubljana (Slovenia) will also return to Iberia's network with three and two weekly flights, respectively.
In addition to these additions, Iberia will increase capacity to some of the most important destinations in its network. Milan will receive two more weekly flights, bringing its total to 44 weekly flights next summer.
Athens will receive 16 weekly flights in April, May, and October, four more flights than last summer. In August, the airline will reach its maximum with 29 weekly flights.
Nice will receive three more weekly flights, totalling 24 weekly flights in the summer of 2026.
