The event is scheduled for 2:20pm and precedes the Portuguese MotoGP Grand Prix, which will be held at the Algarve International Circuit between November 7 and 9.
Under the motto "Acelera Portimão" (Accelerate Portimão), the entire community is invited to participate in this special event, which is free to attend.
"More than a pre-event, this initiative aims to be a celebration of the spirit of motorcycling in the heart of the city, bringing fans of this sport closer together," says the Municipality of Portimão.
In addition to an autograph session, there will be space for an exhibition of cars and motorcycles for taking photos. The racetrack and several promoters will also offer giveaways, and the city hall will raffle off three dozen passes to attend the competition during the weekend.
One of the highlights of “Acelera Portimão” will be the riders' parade along the waterfront, between the Old Fish Market and Manuel Teixeira Gomes Square (“Casa Inglesa”), a route of approximately 300 metres.
“This Fan Meeting takes on greater importance because it is very likely that this will be Miguel Oliveira's farewell moment as a rider in this category of motorcycling,” says the Portimão municipality.
At 30 years old, Miguel Oliveira was the first and is currently the only Portuguese rider to compete in this main MotoGP category. He is expected to continue his career on the track, but in the Superbike World Championship starting in 2026.
As in previous MotoGP editions at the Algarve International Circuit, and in partnership with the municipalities of Portimão and Lagos, ticket holders can travel to the circuit free of charge on public transport between November 7th and 9th.
Regular connections will be provided between the designated parking areas and the motorsport venue.
According to information already released by the AIA, transport will be guaranteed in the morning, uninterrupted between 8 am and 12 pm, with return trips between 4 pm and 6:30 pm.
In the case of the municipality of Portimão, parking spaces will be available on Estrada da Rocha (Portimão parish) and on Rua Calçada da Fonte, in Figueira (Mexilhoeira Grande parish).

It is a well known fact that MO88 has signed with ROKIT BMW WSBK for 2026.
