According to forecasts released by the Automobile Club of Portugal (ACP), diesel is expected to become more expensive, while petrol should become cheaper.
The forecasts point to an increase of 1.5 cents in the case of diesel and a decrease of half a cent in the case of petrol.
This comes at a time when regular diesel is costing €1.589 per litre, while regular 95-octane petrol is costing €1.706 per litre, according to average prices updated by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) on the Online Fuel Prices website.
It should be noted that these average daily prices "are calculated based on prices reported by fuel stations, weighted by the quantities sold in the last known period, incorporating discounts applied at stations such as fleet cards and others."
