The project, led by midwife and nurse Tashmyn Rosario in partnership with the Hope for Fulanis NGO, aims to improve access to health education, strengthen maternal care, and train local helpers to support women and families in the rural community of Tabanane village.

During the first phase of the project, Tashmyn will implement the programme and start providing health education training during pregnancies and maternal care guidance in this remote village, where only a male helper with no formal medical training is available.

This initiative embodies the true spirit of Rotary service above self. RCEPI is proud to join a mission that saves lives and transforms communities. With this support, we reaffirm our commitment to making a difference both locally and globally by supporting initiatives that promote health, education, and hope.

The Club’s financial contribution was formally presented during its meeting on Tuesday, 7 October.
