The number of passengers handled at Portuguese airports increased by 4.7% by October, compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 63.869 million, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

According to the INE's "Rapid Air Transport Statistics," Lisbon airport accounted for 48.1% of total passengers during that period, or 30.7 million, representing a 2.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Porto airport accounted for 22.8% of passengers, reaching 14.5 million (+5.9%), and Faro airport registered a 5.7% increase, totalling 9.6 million passengers (15.0% of the total).
