According to data released by the INE (National Institute of Statistics), in the subsidiaries of foreign companies operating in Portugal, the apparent productivity of labour (measured by the Gross Value Added - GVA generated per unit of employed personnel) and the average monthly remuneration per employed person reached €57,767 and €1,854 per employed person, respectively, last year, 69.6% and 44.2% more than the corresponding values for national companies.
According to the National Institute of Statistics (INE), in 2024, there were 11,066 branches of foreign companies in Portugal, 3.4% more than in the previous year; these units correspond to 2.1% of the total number of non-financial companies.












Conclusion must be, something is very wrong with Portuguese society's way of being and general culture.
