Next year, if you want to go from Lisbon to Porto on an Alfa Pendular train, a one-way ticket will cost 35.70 euros in tourist class, while on an Intercidades train the same trip will cost 28.05 euros (in 2nd class). This reflects an increase of 1.10 euros in the case of the Alfa Pendular and 65 cents in the Intercidades.

"From January 1, 2026, new prices will come into effect for all CP services, with an average increase of 2.26%," reads the notice.

These values are in the new price list, released by CP (Comboios de Portugal), for all train services in 2026. According to the railway company, prices will increase by an average of 2.26% — above the 2.02% increase this year.

However, the price of the Green Rail Pass and the Navegante and Andante passes will not change. That is, next year, the Green Rail Pass will maintain its cost of 20 euros for 30 days of use (40 euros for 60 days and 60 euros for 90 days), while the Navegante will continue to cost 30 euros (municipal) and 40 euros (metropolitan) per month, and the transport ticket used in Porto will cost 40 euros (if metropolitan).

On the other hand, "the price of the Green Rail Pass and the Navegante and Andante passes will not change," they add.
