This mid-term review aligns European funds with emerging regional challenges, financed mainly by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, and the Just Transition Fund.

The revised programme allocates €59.5 million to housing, €25 million to defense, €24 million to water, and €3.5 million to decarbonisation skills, while increasing investment in innovation, energy efficiency, mobility, education, health, social inclusion and culture, from a €1.104 billion total envelope.
